This text explains what actually happens to your data in the KoraPlus app and on this website. The service is run by Karim Alilou. Contact: .

In short

  • There is no account or sign-in, and we never ask for your name, email or phone number.
  • If you turn on notifications, we store only the device data needed to send them.
  • The free version shows ads through Google AdMob, after asking for the required consents.

Notifications: what we store on our servers

If you allow notifications, the app sends this data to our server, where it is stored in a Cloudflare D1 database:

  • The device token Apple issues for notifications (APNs token) and its environment type.
  • The app language (Arabic, English or French).
  • Whether you have a Plus subscription (yes or no only).
  • Your notification preferences by type: lineup, kickoff, goals, full time, red card, substitutions.
  • The IDs of the players and teams you follow.
  • The date this data was last updated.

We use it only to send the notifications you asked for. Notifications travel through the Apple Push Notification service and contain only the match or event text.

When this data is deleted

  • When you turn off notifications in iPhone Settings: it is deleted the next time you open the app.
  • When Apple tells us the token is no longer valid (for example, after the app is deleted): it is deleted at the next send attempt.

There is no other automatic deletion period. Turning off a single notification type inside the app only changes that preference and does not delete the device. You can also write to with any request about your data.

Ads

Plus subscribers see no ads. In the free version, the order is: Google’s consent form (UMP) where required, such as in the EEA and UK, then Apple’s tracking permission request (ATT), then Google AdMob starts. AdMob does not start before these steps, and if consent cannot be obtained, no ads are shown in that session.

Once running, AdMob collects data such as IP address, device information and ad interactions, plus the advertising identifier if you allow tracking, under Google’s policy. If you decline tracking, the app stays the same and ads are less personalized. You can change your choice in iPhone Settings, and in the app’s More tab when privacy settings are required in your region.

Purchases

Subscriptions go through Apple. We never see your payment details. The app checks your subscription on your device, and only the yes-or-no value above reaches our server.

What stays on your device

The players and teams you follow, your preferences and cached match data are stored on your device. So is the widget data: the app writes it to a local file shared with the widget, and the widget itself does not connect to the internet.

Hosting and technical logs

The app’s server and this website run on Cloudflare. App requests carry no user identity, and our code does not read or store IP addresses. Cloudflare does process IP addresses as the host, and keeps technical logs for a limited time. These include the request URL, which can contain a player search term.

This website

This website uses no analytics, no ads and no cookies of our own.

Its pages read match data from our server, api.koraplus.app, with no identity attached. To keep working when your connection drops, your browser saves a copy of recently viewed data for a short time, and your appearance choice, in its local storage on your device. None of this is sent to us, and you can clear it in your browser settings.

Changes

If what the app collects changes, we update this page and its date.
